Black Jack Essential Basics - Part One

The main premise of the game is to be handed cards adding up to twenty-one. Each competitor is assigned 2 cards. When a black jack player is handed a nine or lower value card and an Ace they have been given a soft hand. When the gambler receives no Ace it is called as a hard hand. As soon as the cards have been handed to all players at the table, which includes the dealer, each gambler is given the chance to make one of 6 actions:

Requesting another card (Hit): When a black jack player says "hit" the croupier will give them another card, if the addition of that card makes the total greater than twenty one the player will have busted and that is the end of the game, if the card pushes the total to 21 the blackjack player will be the winner and if the total hasn't yet reached twenty-one they are still in the game.

Keeping the hand you have been dealt: If a player is satisfied with the hand they'll stay. As soon as this has happened the dealer will display their cards and the gambler who has accumulated twenty-one or the closet to 21 will win.

Doubling Down: A blackjack player might request to double down which increases the bet by 100% they have made. Once you have taken this procedure you can only be given one more card. The specifics of doubling down are often specified by the blackjack table or casino rules so before wagering make sure you're comfortable with the casino rules. If you are gambling at an online casino this is usually very easy.
